LIAG-Seminar: Progress Towards Reproducible Luminescence Data Analysis: The REPLAY Project

Speaker: Marco Colombo

Time: 11:00 Uhr

Accessible and transparent software tools for luminescence data analysis improve reproducibility and reliability of dating results. In the luminescence-dating community, several applications have evolved mainly within the ecosystem of the statistical programming environment R. One such application is the R package ‘Luminescence’. Our presentation will spotlight key milestones and quality measures (e.g., automated testing, snapshots, usability improvements) implemented within the REPLAY project, focusing on reproducibility, robustness, correctness, and practical benefits for the trapped-charge dating community.

Participation is possible on site in the large meeting room of GEOZENTRUM Hannover (“Großer Sitzungssaal”) or Online via the following Webex-Linkhttps://liag.webex.com/liag/j.php?MTID=m66ed948cd47b9e6ef8b8a656ec3938ea

The talk will be presented in English.
