!!!Cancelled!!! - LIAG-Seminar: Decoding Climate Signals from Soilsdeveloped on Loess : Rock Magnetic Transfer Functions Along the Danube Climate Gradient

Das LIAG-Seminar entfällt!

Vortragende: Kamila Ryzner

Zeit: 11:00 Uhr

This project examines how precipitation and temperature control magnetic, geochemical, and physical properties of loess-derived topsoils across the Danube catchment. Using single proxies as well as multivariate statistical approaches, climate-sensitive rock magnetic proxies are evaluated while accounting for substrate and provenance variability. The resulting transfer functions are applied to interglacial loess–paleosol sequences to reconstruct past climatic conditions.
