The THC-Prognos partners met in Hannover for the 3rd consortium meeting to review progress on the hydrochemical database and coupled THC modeling. Key updates included data harmonization plans, successful coupling demonstrations, and contributions to the project’s e-learning and web resources. The meeting also advanced planning for an additional case study and next steps toward the project’s final phase.
The THC-Prognos project successfully held its first annual meeting, hosted by GFZ Potsdam, with both in-person and online participation. The meeting focused on project progress and updates, addressing challenges encountered and outlining the roadmap for the next six months. As part of the 7th Energy Research Program, THC-Prognos aims to enhance hydrochemical characterization for predictive modeling in sustainable reservoir management. Key aspects discussed included the development of a hydrochemical database, Coupled THC modeling tool, and their integration into GeotIS for public access.
